With more than four decades of leadership in travel, conservation, and destination innovation, Carla Molina pioneered the concept that later became Ecotourism & Adventure Specialists (EAS)—a fresh, science‑driven approach to conservation through travel. Established in 1997 in Guatemala and expanded over the years into Mexico, Costa Rica, and the United States, EAS continues to lead the way in sustainable travel, scientific discovery, and community‑centered conservation. Always evolving, always innovative, we consistently exceed the expectations of the discerning travelers who choose to explore the Americas with us.
We began our journey in the Maya World and the Caribbean — Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, and Southeastern Mexico — when these regions were emerging as new natural and cultural travel frontiers. As our travelers sought deeper experiences in nature and richer encounters with Latin America’s ancient civilizations, we expanded southward into Costa Rica and Panama and Patagonia in Argentina and Chile, some of today's ecotourism and adventure hotspots along with Peru and Ecuador. Mexico has long been a favorite among our travelers, who discover a country far beyond their imagination—one we know intimately and love sharing with you.
