Day 5

Torres del Paine National Park, Chile

  • After breakfast at your hotel you will go on a full day tour of the nearest sections of Torres del Paine National Park. When these rocks were in contact with the magma inside the Earth, which gave way to granite rocks, the enormous pressure from the bowels of the planet made these impressive mountains rise and form what we now known as the Torres del Paine. During the ice ages, ice covered the entire region. Only the higher mountaintops are still covered by glaciers today and the bottoms of these mountains, of exposed granite, show mostly black hues but you will also see different colors. Torres del Paine National Park is undoubtedly one of the greatest shows Mother Nature has silently put on in Patagonia over the course of centuries. Lunch is included in your tour today. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight at the Costa Australis Hotel (4*).
